Alina Gridley works primarily in fused glass. When heated to the appropriate temperature, parts of sheet glass fuse together to create colorful and unique pieces of art. Once fused, glass can be fired again to take on various forms, including bowls and plates. Much of her inspiration comes from nature. Trees, mountains, stars and the ocean are some of the key elements in her art.
